Changes at ANSON

Happy new year to all those across the Not for Profit sector. We started off this year with some exciting changes at ANSON.

Firstly, welcome to our new and improved website. It has a new look, some new faces, new information and some new services. We hope you will take the time to explore and let us know what you think.

Our big news however, is from February this year Dena Zarif took up the role of CEO of ANSON. Remaining as the business owner and Chair John Broweleit has handed over the leadership role to Dena, freeing him up to concentrate on developing and building the relationships needed to continually develop our services and benefit the sector.

Many of you will already know Dena, given her six years with ANSON heading up our People and Culture and Strategic Consulting Services.  Like all the team at ANSON Dena has specialist knowledge and expertise within the sector including: 10 years of executive experience managing human services in disability, employment, Aboriginal, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities (CALD); people facing homelessness and humanitarian programs.

Qualified with an MBA, Bachelor of Commerce and Graduate of the Company Directors Course Dena has wide-ranging leadership experience and has acted as interim CEO for numerous clients while assisting with significant transformational programs covering culture, risk, strategy and governance. She has been a Board member and Chair for WA Blue Sky a disability services organisation for over 5 years.

This change to our structure is as much a reflection of the changing nature of the sector as it is of our recent business growth.  As not for profit organisations grow, change and evolve, so too do we.

Our priority however, remains constant – to continue to offer specialist, targeted and authentic services that assist organisations in their mission.

We are privileged to work with so many outstanding organisations right across the sector. It feels like we have a front row seat, seeing first-hand the impact each of you create in people’s lives and in our community.

We continue to be inspired by your dedication, energy and commitment and look forward to working with you throughout this year.
